Documents to check before order and at handover
Request the datasheet for the exact model offered, relevant test documents and a drawing showing the design basis. A test report for a different model, or a general company certificate, does not establish the performance of the proposed item.
For installation handover, agree dated site photographs linked to drawing references, conductor and bonding inspection records, test-point identifiers, the measurement method and instrument details, and as-built drawings. A preliminary design assessment is different from a signed record of completed installation and measured site results.

A rooftop air terminal does not replace coordinated SPDs, bonding or the earthing arrangement. Include power and signal interfaces in the project review.

Compare the exact air-terminal model, mast/support arrangement, conductor material and quantity, earthing and bonding scope, SPDs, access equipment, installation, testing, taxes and freight. Request a written itemised quotation; model-only prices do not describe a complete installed system.
Can one lightning arrester protect any building?
