Earthing Quotation Checklist for Project Buyers
A useful RFQ lets suppliers quote the same construction and scope. Use this checklist with your approved project specification; it is not a design certificate or test report.
Material and construction schedule
- Electrode type: GI tube, electrolytic copper tube, solid copper or copper-bonded steel.
- Model, diameter, length, wall thickness or copper-coating thickness, terminal and coupling details.
- Electrode, backfill, conductor, chamber and connection accessory quantities.
- Required model-specific datasheets, material declarations and relevant test reports.
Scope and site information
- Project address, layout, panel/equipment schedule and conductor routes.
- Soil-resistivity data, existing pit test records and approved acceptance criteria.
- Supply-only or installation scope; trenching, reinstatement, access and unloading responsibilities.
- Separate prices for material, freight, civil work, installation and testing.
- Delivery or execution date, inspection requirements and quotation exclusions.
Handover documents
Specify as-built locations, pit identification, test-link details, measured results, test method, instrument identification and maintenance requirements in the agreed scope.
